OUR STUDIO offers

huge (30' x 25') room for bands—plenty of room for groups to
spread out and get comfy in. We’ve recorded 15-piece R&B groups
with a horn section and background vocalists, a few large choirs, and
even a 35-piece orchestra! Drums sound so good in this room that other
studio owners sometimes track their drums here, then finish the
tracks at their own studios.

 OUR
MAIN CONTROL ROOM features a 78-input Amek console with automation, a
2-inch Sony / MCI JH24 24-track tape deck,
extensive
MIDI capability, 64 digital tracks with Pro Tools–compatible Digital
Performer and Nuendo software on a Mac G4, digital or analog mixdown, and
CD mastering. The Amek is automated
for easy mixdowns, and the digital and MIDI tracks can be locked via
SMPTE timecode to the 24-track tape recorder, so that your final product has the
best of both worlds.
 STUDIO
B is the economical choice when you don’t need all the resources of our
main studio. It offers an Audio Arts console, a 1-inch, 16-track Tascam
tape deck with dbx noise reduction, and full MIDI and digital recording
using Pro Tools or Nuendo software. You also get the same choice of isolation booths, large
main studio for bands and drums, outboard gear, microphones, keyboards,
and drum modules.
