Take
I-93 to exit 32 (just north of Boston), which is Route 60 east. Go 2
miles to Malden Square (Walgreens is on the right). Take a left
onto Main Street. Go two blocks and stay left at the fork, continuing
north on Main Street. Five blocks up on the left, you’ll see Anton’s
Cleaners. Take a left onto Clinton Street at Anton’s. (Don’t be
confused by Clifton Street, the one before Clinton.) We’re in the brick
building on the right at the bottom of Clinton

left side—walk around the guardrail into the parking lot and look for
the Oak Grove Recording sign. We’re on the second floor.

“Working
with Joe was a dream come true. Being a solo artist accompanied only
by my guitar, I didn’t know what to expect the first time I first
entered Oak Grove Studio. Joe was terrific! His help and expertise
were immediate. I didn’t want to lose the essence of my music in a
recording studio. Through Joe’s genuine genius I was able to flesh
out each of my songs into full-fledged arrangements while staying
true to my music. His sensitivity and musical expertise (not to
mention his backup vocals!) are supremely professional . . .

.
. . What I liked most about working with Joe is that he never tried
to push me musically in any direction. He always listened to what I
was trying to say with my music and then suggested ways that I might
bring my vision to fruition. I recorded 12 songs at Oak Grove
Studio, and I have every intention of continuing my relationship
with Joe Laquidara and Oak Grove Studio for my next CD. I recommend
Joe to anyone at any level. He works with beginning musicians and
gold record recording artists with equal care and expertise.”

From
the Orange Line
Take
the T to the last stop on the Orange line (Oak Grove). Go up the stairs
and through the turnstile. Take a left and come out the back door of the
station. You should see parking lots and trees. If you see houses and
stores, you came out the wrong exit (there are only two.) When you come
out of the train station, take a right onto the T access road. Walk about
a hundred feet to Winter Street, cross it, and come down the ramp into our
parking lot. Straight ahead is the “Toyo
Tires”
building. Head for this building, and when you get to it, take a right. At
the end of the building, go left. You’ll be facing a big, gray building
with two gray garage doors. Go to the right of the building and look for
the Oak Grove Recording
sign. We’re on the second floor. |
